Disentis Sedrun Tourism is happy to announce a new partnership with international mountain bike legend Hans Rey. Rey will act as an ambassador and consultant for the Swiss mountain resort. The Swiss trials, freeride and adventure pioneer lives in California. He has inspired generations of bikers and has travelled to over 70 countries in his long career. Hans “No Way” Rey is an icon in the mountain bike world, the former Trials World Champion and Mountain Bike Hall of Fame inductee has been involved with many trends in the sport and has helped to put many MTB destinations on the map. Hans will promote Disentis – Sedrun as a MTB and EMTB destination and work on events, film projects and PR matters, as well as consult with new ideas to improve and expand the biking infrastructure. The Disentis and Sedrun ski resorts are located in the canton of Graubünden surrounded by the Oberalb, Gotthard and Lukmanier passes, and is known as the source of the river Rhine. A great trail network and biking infrastructure already exists, including “Flow” trails, skills area and a variety of purpose-built bike and backcountry trails. Plans are under way for an exciting new multi-day bike tour as well as several new trails. Hans will be a great addition to the long time cooperation with Ralph Näf and his RN World Cup Racing Team.
